Today I attempted to do a manual virus scan & received an error message that Zone Alarm Anti-virus was not set properly. Tried re-installing the program to no avail. I then searched for programs running, with a "process manager" and found "IMGUpdater.exe". Knowing that I didn't install this, I tried to uninstall by way of "Remove Programs" utility in Control Panel. It did not appear - not a registered program. I then searched for the file and found it in C:\Program Files\Common Files\IMGUpdater and removed it manually. After that Zone Alarm worked fine. IMGlobal claims to be a marketing company, but I think it is suspect. Stealth is bad enough but when it disables a virus checker it becomes malicious. One other note; it seems to work in concert with Iminent (umbrella 291.exe) which is EXTREMELY hard to uninstall. I would beware of anything coming from Sien S.A.
