KMSEmulator.exe was located on 2 locations. One like is in your description an one in the auto subfolder. So if i have removed only the first one was appearing again after the reboot. So i have checked both to remove. And then the fix was successful.

I installed and ran freefixer but it didn't detect KMSEmulator.exe, so I decided to restart my computer. Upon restart I ran freefixer as soon as I was able to then my antivirus kicked in and detected KMSEmulator.exe as recurring twice. I didn't select the virus for removal, but allowed it to remain; then it popped up one more time for a total of three occurrences. I selected all three occurrences for removal as freefixer continued to run.
As soon as freefixer finished its checkup I reviewed the list to see if I could identify KMSEmulator.exe. Sure enough I found it under a slightly different name (WindowsKMS.exe or something like that) and promptly selected it for removal. Upon restarting my computer once again my antivirus didn't detect KMSEmulator.exe anymore. I'm glad I was able to get rid of this, since I'd read numerous stories of how stubborn and difficult to get rid of KMSEmulator.exe is.
