McUICnt.exe came with Adobe Reader 9. McUICnt.exe diplayed the following message on my computer:

"We didn't find any anti-virus software on your PC. Don't leave your PC defenseless against the latest threats, get McAfee complete protection now".

This program, McAfee Security Scan, was installed uninvited by Adobe flash player plugin installer. It is NOT part of the McAfee Antivirus suite I regularly use. It was detected by Zone Alarm 8. I removed it by running the uninstall program in the start menu.

McUICnt.exe came with Adobe Reader 9.4.0 and installed in C:\Program Files\McAfee Security Scan\2.0.181. I removed McAfee Security Scan Plus from the Control Panel OK.
