I experienced a huge increase in spam on my email account that was associated with DirectTV after installing this file. I am not sure it is associated with that effort, but I can do without it.

removed from my XP professional Dell system and severe delay problems and over processing performance went away. This file was stuck in the top 5 of memory users in my normal processing files, starting from a DIRECTV program inquiry last week.

in windows 8 for every browser that i've tried, this program has consistently caused a runtime error - i am unable to use directv through my pc; worked fine on windows 7 - i've uninstalled and reinstalled and the same has happened

This ended up on my PC after installing a program called "Cox Connect." It allows customers with both Cox cable TV and high-speed internet to watch television on whatever device it's installed on. I imagine it was created by the same group who created the DTV program which does the same thing. I have since uninstalled it and my PC seems to run a bit faster now.

Is it necessary to have this in my Startup file? I'm not experiencing any problems with the program itself, just wondering if it needs to be in the startup process.
Good information on this site...Thanks!
