I have been working with Evenbalance Support for some time now on the inability of my OS to allow me to play Call of Duty World at War, which is one of my favorites. It was the last in that series that had dedicated servers, and with the intro of COD Black Ops and COD3, with the demise of dedicated servers, it signaled every cheater, glitch addict to have free reign.(IMHO)
I am able to play both COD3 and a much older game (Battlefield2142, controlled by Origin) with no PB issues at all. I discovered this ex0 file along with PnkBstrB.exe & PnkBstr.B.xtr which have shown up on my PC on October 5th, and am awaiting a reply from Evenbalance as to what we have here.
MY AV is G-Data Total Security 2013 which has been a Godsend, as it has found 6 bankfraud trojans and other assorted viruses. My other AV was as effective as a paperweight.
All of this aside, the issue with me is getting Win7 to quit denying access to PnkBstrA.exe. This has happened to me on both a Velocity Micro with Vista Ultimate and my Asus CM6830.
Nice site you have, and thanks for the effort on your part to help the PC community.
