I had awful ads taking over Facebook. I went to the FB Adware page https://www.facebook.com/help/adware Followed the directions
AND uninstalled Savings Sidekick and the ads are gone.

Savings SideKick.exe on my machine was part of a down load of IE and Firefox. I do not remember giving permission for this piece of soft ware to be down loaded at the same time I down loaded IE and Firefox, It has caused a number of problems ie spe running at 100%
