Nice website Roger! One additional category to consider beyone malware: "Resource Hog". The one in question here is SoftphoneIntegrations.exe deployed with Jabra USB speakerphone software. It consumes a bunch of disk I/O on system startup. Knowing that would allow us to disable the function in the Jabra software if not needed, or complain to Jabra if it is needed. I'm at info@fantone.net if you've follow up questions.

I like your idea about tracking resource usage for the processes/services running on the machine. CPU, disc and network usages comes to mind. I'm guessing that these things can be tracked with APIs in the newer versions of Windows. Going to read up on it.
