Was having virus problems, possible OS corruption, may need to re-install OS. So I purchased a 32 GB Lexar jumpdrive, and copied 15 folders of data from my hard drive to the Lexar on Sat. 8-23-14. Today when I look at the directory for the Lexar, I see the 15 folders PLUS a stand-alone file with the filename "SystemMechanicPrem_12.5.0.80.exe" with a mod date of 5-18-14. What is this file, is it harmful, and how did it get on my Lexar drive when all I was doing was copying files from my hard drive ? Is it a symptom of the virus, i.e., did the virus put it on the Lexar while I was copying files ?

This file came on some Lexar flash drives that I recently bought. It looks like some useless junkware, but probably harmless.
