@kim: These should be an entry in the Add/Remove programs dialog for the Conduit software.

You can also use FreeFixer to remove it. TBVerifier.dll should appear under "Registry Startups" in the scan result.

@Steve W: TBVerifier.dll is used by the Conduit Toolbars. The Conduit framework is used by a large number of software publishers to build a toolbar for their company or product. The Conduit Toolbars often comes bundled with some free software. Here is the Conduit Toolbar showcase which shows some of the companies that use a Conduit Toolbar:

toolbar.conduit.com/Showcase/toolbar-showcase.aspx

So, my guess is that you had one of the Conduit Toolbars installed, and then your anti-virus program removed the TBVerifier.dll file, but not the startup entry that tries to run TBVerifier.dll. Thus you will get an error message saying "Error loading TBVerifier.dll. The specified module could not be found" when starting up your machine.

If you want to remove this error message, you can check the TBVerifier.dll entry listed under "Registry Startups" in the FreeFixer scan result.
