Thunder Network
----------
Thunder,a.k.a 迅雷/Xunlei is a famous download software which is widely used in China.
Shenzhen Xunlei Networking Technologies, Co., Ltd.

In recent years it became more and more redudant and a lot of advertisements or unecessary functions (e.g. video player/photo editor) were added.

Xunlei Networking Technologies Ltd. develops software products. The Company develops thunder video, thunder fast bird, thunder live broadcast, and other software products. Xunlei Networking Technologies also provides blockchain technology, cloud computing technology, and other services.

Products by other companies may also have this component bundled if they choose to use its download service.
----------

Used also by iMobie PhoneRescue (and probably other softwares that use "Thunder Network" by Xunlei)
Proof: go to "C:\Users\Public\Thunder Network" and open with notepad the file called "cid_store.dat"

Suspected adware, or false positive, who knows?

scan every file on Virustotal website

check in C:\Program Files (x86)\Thunder Network
check in C:\ProgramData\Thunder Network
check in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Thunder Network\
check also if you have in "C:\" (root) the "Thunder" folder (hidden folder or not)
check if you have any browser addon called "Thunder" or "Xunlei"

DO YOU USE A FREE VPN? NOT GOOD AT ALL, IT CAN BE AN ADWARE (OR WORST..) INCLUDED IN YOUR VPN, please check with a full scan by Malwarebytes and EmsisoftEmergencyKit and HitmanPro

check in settings/control panel if you have a software called "Thunder" or "Xunlei" or "iMobie" installed
and check any VPN software you have, if trusted one or not check via Trustpilot

P.S.
While I was in the middle of writing this message to you, I got a warning from Windows Defender about a "PUA:MacOS/Imobie.A!MTB"
I was manually deleting all "Thunder Network" folders I have in my PC and suddendly (a minute later circa) Windows Defender warnings appeared

Now I just ended writing this and I got a new warning from Windows Defender about a "Ransom:Win32/Blocker"
WELL, I WILL NEVER TRUST ANYTHING THAT HAS IN ITS NAME "THUNDER NETWORK" OR "Xunlei" OR "iMobie" !!!!
