Do you think It is something I can fix on my own/with a friend or a specialist has to do the job?

@Jeremie: Doesn't it say something more, like "File is missing", or "File is corrupt" or something like that?

After you get this error message, is the computer completely locked up, or can you dismiss the error message to do other things such as starting the web browser or access the Windows Control Panel? In that case, it should be possible to uninstall the "Search Protect" software either from the Windows Control Panel, or by using FreeFixer.

Having same problem too! Screen is completely locked and doesn't allow access. It says LogonUI.exe-BadImage is either not designed to run on windows or contains an error. Try installing the program again using original installation media or contact system administrator or software vendor for support.

The message does not want to close. Please help! My computer is useless!!!

@Lois: Are you getting the same problem if you start your computer in safe mode? If not, you can hopefully uninstall the Search Protect software from the Windows Control Panel, or use FreeFixer to uninstall it.

@Adriana: VC64Loader.dll should be listed under AppInit_Dlls in the scan result. You can also use CTRL+F to search the scan result.

If VC64Loader.dll is not listed in the scan result, you can figure out the full path to VC64Loader.dll using Windows Explorer, and then type in the full path to VC64Loader.dll in FreeFixer's File Nuker. You can find the File Nuker under the Tools tabs in FreeFixer.
