I bought and installed WEBROOT for a few days, and just now my trail version of the KASPERSKY PURE2.0 ( which I plan to let it lapse and stay with just using WEBROOT ) reported it as "active malicious object detected by Kaspersky Security Network detected" and asked me if I want to DISINFECT and reboot ( recommended ) - which I am going to ignore..... please let me know if that is the wrong thing to do, thanks

My computer does not start, and I got the message:
Explorer.exe - Bad Image
The application or DLL c:\WINDOWS\system32\Wrusr.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.
I would appreciate it if anyone could let me know the effects of deleting the Wrusr.dll file.

Roger the problem is you can't reinstall Webroot when the computer will not fully boot up. im sure he/she is having the same issue im having. you cannot get explorer.exe to load in safe mode or normal. and basically cannot get anything to run. this is a bad flaw on webroot's part as a file getting corrupted that is part of webroot should never make the Windows OS itself inoperable. brings back memories of Norton and how terrible of a anti virus they had for years when it came to corrupting windows.
