It seems that wifisvc.exe is a file bundled with the software that comes with a netgear usb wireless adapter. I do not see it as posing a threat, though i do not know exactly what it does.

I have this constant popup saying that wifisvc.exe has crashed but my wifi is still working. this pop up is rather large and I cant get rid of it, I have no technical support as the wifi item was purchased 2 yrs ago, I did try but they wouldn't help.
