I had doubts about this file as well. I use AMD Raid on my system and upon further inspection the file is digitally signed by VeriSign class 3 code signing to Promise Technology back in 2011. As of the digital signature I can verify that this file is legitimate in its running on my system. File size is (147,704 bytes) which matches other sites reporting of legitimacy.
