I am having issues with spyware and malware and issues with my browser(s) running poorly and freezing up.
I thought there might be something that I needed to uninstall. I found Yontoo Layers Client 1.10.01 on my list of programs. Trying to figure out if I should or shouldn't remove this.
Not sure what it is or what it does.

I installed Yontoo Layers via Facebook. It allows you to put a skin on your profile page. I am now deleting it because it causes my computer to run slow and freeze. It's a really cool add-on if your computer can handle it, but unfortunately my computer can't. :(

The PageRage app for Facebook layouts is powered by software called Yontoo Layers. PageRage places layers over you facebook account to give the appearance of having made changes to the underlying website. PageRage does NOT contain any viruses/malware/spyware etc. More than likley your computer was running slow because you did not update your software with the latest version. I use PageRage now and it works fantastic. My computer runs just as fast and I have not run into any issues.

I currently use the PageRage browser plug-in and have only encountered little to no slowing of my computer. I ended up venturing over to their support page on their website and they said that signs of slowing are generally alleviated when you install flash for your browser since PageRage uses Flash. I installed Flash and it totally helped me out and I love the program just as much as I did before. Check out that solution Chelsea and Alicia, see if it helps. PageRage does not contain viruses, malware or spyware - utilize their support page for assistance.

This is the worst thing that happened since kids who play online games but can't decipher sneak options in accessing their games on their mommy's computer came along. The entire weekend - gone - as I chased this horrible thing down! Laptop runs slow, revves up, Flash updates won't download, you name it. I've run Ad-Aware several times and found a Trojan virus, Adware and Yontoo! I quarantined then removed. No better because I'm sure they are hiding elsewhere and are not listed in my Add-On's, Extensions or removable programs listed as themselves. No new files are announced in Programs and Features under Control Programs, but all of this begin a few days ago when my child visited sites such as Nick Jr. for games.
