My one was really a virus, had done:
0. got some javascript-errors
1. program tied access to internet
2. registry change[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]

3. blocked screen

Get rid of it:
--> boot in safe mode, delete file and reg-entry
