Ave.exe is malware. Be sure to remove the registry entries pointing to it BEFORE deleting it. If you don't, you won't be able to run anything, including the registry editor. The most critical entry is under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe. The value for (Default) should be exefile. "Content Type" will not be changed. The keys "default icon" and Shell were added by ave.exe, and should be removed.
