My computer running XP pro keeps rebooting and when booted under the safe mode stops at trying to load AVGIDSEH.SYS file, which I believe placed by the AVG antivirus installation.

Any solution to cure this.
The computers if shutdown for about 30 mins or so, boots fine.
I guess after is cools down or something.

Please help.

There's a post over at AVG's web site that describes a work-around for the recent blue screen problems:

http://product-team.blog.avg.com/2010/12/avg-fix-for-computers-running-on-windows-7-64-bit-platform.html

Did this solve the problem?

I'm seeing the same behaviour as Sahwir on XP pro. I've got it running in the repair console now doing a chkdsk and I intend to remove this file when it has finished and try it again.

I'll repost when I find a fix.
