This is what i have been able to find out about,(BANTEXT.SYS) BANTExt.sys is a Windows driver. A driver is a small software program that allows your computer to communicate with hardware or connected devices. This means that a driver has direct access to the internals of the OS, hardware etc.The driver belongs to a program called Belarc Advisor, which you can use to scan your system and it will give you a report of exactly what is runnin on your Pc or Laptop including all the software and hardware that you have installed.I use the program myself and have had no problems.
