I've had trouble with this! It crept on to my system when I was Installing 'Magix Audio Cleaning Lab.' It seems to be macro'-software for checking the authenticity of your applications! Some company's [The Cheeky Bugger's] use this software instead of Product keys and other forms of activation because they think they're software is soooo wonderful everyone on the planet may try and steal it! And you never know, it just might fall into the wrong hands! Hitler may try and burn CD's for FREE!!! You can uninstall the normal way you uninstall [through 'Control Panel - Add/Remove ....Etc...]but chances are it will re-install itself when you try and use the software in which it came. [In my Case 'Audio Cleaning Lab']. So you have to go through your ALL hidden files and system files and supper hidden system files - C:\Windows\System32\Drivers, C:\Documents & Settings\UserName\Application Data, C:\Documents & Settings\AllUsers\Application Data, C:\Documents & Settings\UserName\Temp folders... and so on so forth Etc...Etc... and then your software [Audio Cleaning Labs] that you payed for with your hard earned doe probably won't work anymore! This software is A King Hell NightMare! As good as [Or As Bad As I should Say!] any other MalWare out there that sneaks on to your computer, hides itself in with 'System' files', runs in the background using up valuable resources, is next to impossible to get rid of AND if you do finally get rid of it other Important Stuff Will Fail To Work!
I really Hope I've Helped, Coz this cda, C-Dilla, SafeCast,[just a few of the alias's It goes by, that I can remember]Has Wound me up a treat!
