Conexant video capture driver. I found this file installed after I hot-boxed a spare HDD with W7Pro booting into a scabbed HP Media Center rig I pieced together. The previous owner reported that the Conexant video capture device failed, though he never removed it. Then when I tossed the HDD with W7Pro into the mix, I found I had to remove the defunct device. Also, there were no native W7/Vista drivers available. Even after I removed the offending hardware there were issues. IMHO this may mean the software was somehow part burned onto the mobo. Unsure, though it /was/ an old HP, after all. Anyway, I did not have a Conexant device on any other PC prior to this pseudo-install, and I'd never received the message "Driver disabled because of incompatibility..." C'est la vie, HP, c'est la vie.
