I have this file on my pc and it has caused at least 3 system crashes recently. Can I remove it without screwing the display up? Cheers

Found some info on daemonu.exe here:

it is not a virus. disable it manually. run > services.msc > nvidia update service > stop > then disable it > apply.

I keep getting error boxes relating to daemonu.exe and still don't really understand why, what to do, how to get rid of it -only started recently but it is a pain.
I would like to add that I soooo WISH I could understand all this computer stuff. I'm not dull,I'm pretty well educated etc, just have a block when it comes to technology.
For all you people who find it easy, know that tons of us admire and ENVY you and are grateful for the advice and help you take the time to offer.

By the way, in idiot speak please, what is the difference between 32 and 64 bit? Does it matter?
What does duel core mean and do I need to know this stuff?
What if I have 32bit and download something for 64 bit or the other way around.
* No I haven't, just interested in what this is all about. :-)
