I was so glad to find your tool. EasyFileOpener found its way into my computer and installed itself. ??!. It's not listed in my Add/Remove Programs list from Control Panel. I found it, thanks to the link you provided on your website, in my C: drive... But rather than just delete the files and its folder, I want to UNINSTALL it... I wish FreeFixer were a right-click option so I could maybe apply it directly to a file rather than run its scan to find something like this. Thank you very much for FreeFixer, and for supporting digital currency, too.

The EFO.EXE file was replaced last week with a ransomware program using the same name. This version of ransomware isn't listed anywhere. the foot print is -_HOW_TO_FIX with a code after the name. Not sure if that is generated randomly or not. Several computers on the network had entries made in the registry as if it was getting ready to spread across the network. The registry entries were the same code in the -_HOW_TO files. (2FzgNP) The registry entries appeared to be getting ready to tell the computer what program to run if the files end in .2FzgNP.
