@Roadrunner: Someone over at Kaspersky's forum claimed that FlashPlayerService.exe is part Adobe's Flash Player for the China market. Is that the case? Are located in China?

https://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?/topic/407210-flashhelperserviceexe-not-detected-by-kaspersky/

Someone also claimed that 'adware' was integrated into this version of the Flash Plugin. I don't know if this is true and it sounds unlikely. Apparently, none of the scanners at virustotal reports anything about FlashPlayerService.exe. According to the forum poster, uninstalling Flash and installing it outside of China should solve the problem.

What are your observations? Is this the Flash Player from Adobe? Does it integrate some sort of advertising?

@Max: I don't think Flash will work if you remove the FlashHelperService.exe file. I haven't tried though.
