With Windows 10, I had a rash of problems - all seemingly related to permissions. First my AV program crapped out and I had to reinstall it - Kaspersky. Then MS Office 2013 would not open - had an error. I had to call MS to fix it. Then my NEAT scanner dbase failed. Also had to reinstall that. Now, my QUICKEN 2014 will not open. However, if I hover my mouse over the quicken icon on the taskbar, it seems to show its open.

Just now, I got an error from Google drive that looks like a file dump. And now Kaspersky says it blocked a bunch of modules. One of them being hashobjs_ext.pyd. I cant seem to find anything on it - esp. since this OS is so new.

If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate a comment.

I do have a full backup of Windows 7 prof in another drive. I am beginning to think its time to revert to Windows 7.

Please let me know what you think.
