Hello Roger,Nice of you to have this site for assistance to folks. I too found this strange application. However, it was located in the Task Manager in hidden files and folders/ processes. I have no clue as to what this is or does and was hoping you could shed some additional information on the subject so I can better determine whether or not to keep it as is, or remove it.
I am a bit mystified as to why this application is located in the hidden running file/folder processes. Usually ones in this location are there so that we do NOT remove them accidentally. However, this is also a likely location for "hidden" viruses using a back door, so to speak, and according to my limited knowledge on the subject.
Therefore, I am still stumped as whether to keep the darn thing or remove it! Guess I will continue to research this. Let me know if you find any additional information as well.
Kind Regards
LilTigerette
P.S. Advise your readers that in order to see the hidden files and folders in the Task Manager, they must first enable them to be viewed. This can be done by going to your start> control panel> folder options > and click on "Show Hidden Files and Folders". This process may vary however, depending upon what software you use, but either way, enable this option then go to task manager. The lil boogers! Hate all the viruses and junk out there. Good Luck to all...
