lgou.rlo removal instructions

I have just spent a lot of time trying to trace the nature of lgou.rlo and yours is the most informative and helpful source I have yet found.
Is it conceivable that this infection, and its removal, coud also have compromised some type settings in PhotoShop, or is this due to something else?
