Roger, I have a copy of Office 2013 PRO that my wife obtained through her employer, she's a teacher, and we installed it on my PC. Ever since installation I am getting the "Office telemetry agent has stopped working" error message, often at the most inopportune times. All me research has led me to believe I am stuck with this error or I need to reload my OS and OFFICE 2013, rather not thank you. I'm running Windows 7 on a pretty high end desk top so hardware etc. is not an issue. Can I kill this beast, MSOIA.EXE and go abut my day still being able to use EXCEL, OUTLOOK and WORD or am destined for a full wipe and reload. FYI, I have run all the "fixes" I can find on Mr. Gates help pages and blogs to no avail.

Jon, we're seeing this same problem sporadically as we're pushing out Office 2013 Pro Plus out to our organization. We haven't found a resolution as yet, but I don't believe it will keep you from doing your work. It's just annoying for now.

Brian, thanks for the response. I'll keep an eye out and in case I run into something I'll pass it on.

My computer keeps making Office Word, Excel, etc. unable to open, Office telemetry Agent has stopped working. I had not installed anything, however, updates continuously take over my computer. Cannot do anything. There is the WinThruster that they want me to use, but you have to buy it.
