This driver is used to help my external DVD Burner be seen by my computer. Without it, my computer only sees the External DVD BURNER as a DVD-ROM. The REGULAR driver for this DVD Burner does not work because the EXTERNAL connection uses the USB port instead of the REGULAR RIBBON CONNECTOR that the computer is USED to seeing.
