Hi, my name is Roger Karlsson. I've been running this website since 2006. I want to let you know about the FreeFixer program. FreeFixer is a freeware tool that analyzes your system and let you manually identify unwanted programs. Once you've identified some malware files, FreeFixer is pretty good at removing them. You can download FreeFixer here. It runs on Windows 2000/XP/2003/2008/2016/2019/Vista/7/8/8.1/10. Supports both 32- and 64-bit Windows.
If you have questions, feedback on FreeFixer or the freefixer.com website, need help analyzing FreeFixer's scan result or just want to say hello, please contact me. You can find my email address at the contact page.

I downloaded an app and it installed a shit ton of other Russian apps like Yandex and shit. i manage to find where they were all hiding and destroy them, but I accidentally opened the searchband app and now there is a russian cortana-style searchbar on my taskbar. I can't find the process in task manager. I deleted all other files and programs of searchband, and the last file, searchband64.dll, I cannot delete. I used command prompt, didn't work. I tried to change permissions and stuff in the properties window for the file, but I couldn't change or add or delete anything. When I try to delete it normally it just says that I need permission from XXX (admin account), but I am logged in as XXX, the admin. I tried to use the 360 antivirus app to 'shred and destroy' the files, but it doesn't work. I am scared that there might be side effects if I use apps like file shredder, cause it seems to have changed the taskbar itself, and is not an app or process or whatever. Please help.
