@Bobby: How to remove settdebugx.exe with Freefixer:
1. Download and install FreeFixer: http://www.freefixer.com/download.html Freefixer is freeware, so it will not cost you anything. If the malware on your machine prevents you from running the freefixer installer (freefixersetup.exe), please rename it to winlogon.exe and try it again.
2. Start FreeFixer and click "Scan". The scan finishes in approximately 5 minutes. If the malware also prevents you from running the FreeFixer program (freefixer.exe), please also rename it to winlogon.exe and try again.
3. In the scan result, locate items which mention settdebugx.exe and check its "Delete" checkbox. settdebugx.exe usually appears under "Registry startups" in FreeFixer's scan result. DO NOT check anything else for removal, unless you are 100% sure it's malware.
4. Click "Fix".
5. Restart your machine.
6. Start FreeFixer and scan your computer again.
7. Verify that settdebugx.exe no longer appear anywhere in the scan result.
8. Done.

Did this solve the settdebugx.exe problem?

I have my own computer store, I am my only employee, mainly I build custom high performance and gaming computers. Computer repair and service is a huge part of my business, it comes with the territory. When at all possible to guarantee complete virus, trojan, and malware removal it is very important, before you run any scan to boot up in safe mode. That allows the basic minimal core files to run. Which generally will not be infected. On few occasions this is not possible, and usually requires a complete OS reinstall, if a system restore will not work. Generally system restore points are deleted and system restore is deactivated by the virus.
Roger, I am going to try your program right now on my wives laptop, I will let you know how well it works for me.
Thanks
