It's connected to the somewhat well-known windows cracker "KMS" - if you got KMS itself from a legit source, TunMirror is also safe.

Just a few moments ago my Malwarebytes (Premium) was detected the following as infected files on my Windows 10 machine:

C:\PROGRAMDATA\KMSAUTOS\TUNMIRROR.EXE
C:\PROGRAMDATA\KMSAUTOS\TUNMIRROR2.EXE

and I had to remove them both!

W 10, Malwarebytes, paid for, detected it today Malwarebytes had been in the PC for several months. KMS has been used a couple of times for some yrs so it should be okay. So I'll leave it in the PC.
