uim_im.sys was found on my computer to contain a rootkit TR/Rootkit.Gen2 by Anvir Antivir. It was moved to a quarantine. I do not have the Paragon Image Mounter software that is associated with uim_im.sys loaded on my computer. So apparently the rootkit replicated itself and renamed the file using a legitimate file name, uim_im.sys. I'm not sure I have completely removed the rootkit yet. It usually pops up in a system restore point file; this was the first time in the Windows drivers folder.

The drivers Uim_IM.sys, UimFifo.sys, and UimBus.sys are listed with the digital signature "Paragon Software". As I had the Paragon "Back up and Recovery" on my system and I no longer use the software I will delete the drivers.
