My Avast called DealKeeper a "suspect site". I got this and many other unwanted add-ons when upgrading Java to 7 version. Even though I declined all but one option during installation.
Bottom line: Don't ever zip through a Java install, (They'll sneak stuff in on you.), and never accept an add-on option from them.

@James: Was this an official Java update update from Oracle, or was it an unofficial download? I've heard that the Java installer has bundled the Ask Toolbar, but not adware like Deal Keeper.

Came up on my Vista short-cut/notification bar.(Bottom right.) I have made the mistake of using "Java update" pop-ups on sites like FB; won't do that again! I assumed this was from Oracle's java.., I've been wrong before.

@James: I'll check out the Java installer from Oracle to see if anything suspicious turns up.

@James: I tested the Java installer. It did bundle the toolbar from Ask, but I could not see DealKeeper being installed.
