Checked further on this item and it is a plugin for browers to check web pages to make sure they are safe. Have not had any problems so far. Was curious about it because it showed up in Registry Mechanic several times and was using a lot of cpu time but this only lasted maybe a minute or two.

I had an issue with it. I occasionally have video card driver crashes that cause my display to reset, generally only if the computer has been on all day. Last night as I was watching Hulu, I noticed the display start to flicker. I decided to check my task manager, and for some reason this file was running, which I have never seen before, and using a fairly large amount of memory and processor. I killed the process, and the display stopped having issues immediately.

I ran msconfig, and disabled visicom_antiphishing at start-up. The list shows where the file is installed. It had an uninstall exe, which I ran, and it didn't seem to really do anything, so I just deleted the folder.

Yes, the program is installed on my computer but I did not authorize it's installation so I would like to know what it is bundled with.
