wsdetect.dll is the Java Web Start software component. It's a legit file and signed by Oracle.

I'm seeing a pop-up on every Facebook log-on asking to allow this file to run. I just did a lot of reading on several sites, including this one. The general consensus is this file is safe, and a Java update should stop these prompts. The latest Java update fixes many security problems. I'm leaning toward the update, but I'm not certain yet.

@Roger Landry: It could be some ad on FaceBook that tries to exploit one of the many security holes in Java. I would not allow wsdetect.dll to run.
