xmrig.exe removal instructions

The instructions below shows how to remove xmrig.exe with help from the FreeFixer removal tool. Basically, you install FreeFixer, scan your computer, check the xmrig.exe file for removal, restart your computer and scan it again to verify that xmrig.exe has been successfully removed. Here are the removal instructions in more detail:

  1. Download and install FreeFixer: http://www.freefixer.com/download.html
  2. Start FreeFixer and press the Start Scan button. The scan will finish in approximately five minutes.

  3. When the scan is finished, locate xmrig.exe in the scan result and tick the checkbox next to the xmrig.exe file. Do not check any other file for removal unless you are 100% sure you want to delete it. Tip: Press CTRL-F to open up FreeFixer's search dialog to quickly locate xmrig.exe in the scan result.

  8. Restart your computer.
  9. Start FreeFixer and scan your computer again. Verify that xmrig.exe no longer appear in the scan result.

GoodDay! I would like to purchase your software. My machine is affected xmrig.exe virus more than 6 months until now, I have tried, eset, trend micro, malwarebytes premium.No antivirus removed this cpu heating virus. xmrig.exe is a crypto-currency miner. It's a CPU-intensive task and that's why its heating your machine.

@Soe: I'll let you know when FreeFixer supports Windows Server 2012 as we agreed when talking on email.
