  1. I have something called FRGSmartbar in my control panel and three addons in Explorer that I can’t remove or uninstall. WWhat can I do

  2. I have vosteran stuck on my computer too. It is spamming my browser with advertisements and is very annoying. Any advice would be much appreciated!

  3. I’ve just suvived Vosteran thanks to FreeFixer which is a an elegant and superb program…..I’m just about to make a donation of £5……….it’s worth far more but I’m a mean bugger……Tony.

  4. My symptoms are as follows:
I am on a web page. I want to go to a link. However my cursor does not turn into a hand pointer. But remains an arrow pointer. That’s how I know that I will be taken to a rogue site where “youradexchange.com shows momentarily in the tab title then a site such as the following is displayed
    playerme.org/registerac11.html?aff_sub= …

The page content is something like
media player Update required, update recommended, etc

    Sometimes sound clips play sporadically.

To close the tab, I often have to confirm that I want to leave the page.

Since all the rogue pages seem begin momentarily with youradexchange.com, the Blocksite extension in chrome seems to catch them and redirect to a harmless dummy page or to some other page of my choice.

I would love to rid myself of this malware

  5. Was stuck with a stubborn malwear that kept popping up surveys. Lots of solutions out there at a crazy price. Only one presented an effective solution for free! “Free Fix” Thanks guys, you are what the net is all about … community. That said I will be supporting you financially next.

  6. Roger, we’ve never met – but I’d like to give you a hug. I bought a new Windows 8 laptop, and decided to install a Windows 7 shell on it because I didn’t like the layout.

    Huge mistake.

A barrage of pop-ups, spam, malware and other unpleasant things deluged my new machine. I ran the Windows 365 Windows Defender. Didn’t help. Ran the CCleaner. No help

    Yours did

    1. FreeFixer Pro allows user to restore deleted files. The free version of FreeFixer does not have that capability.

The Pro version cannot restore a file, if that file was deleted with the free version of FreeFixer.

  13. Dear FreeFixer Team, (or single person)
I see many positive comments and other things but with my experience it is hard to trust just anyone who says they are “antivirus free” and “computer helpers” I’m sorry if I offend you and anyone else but I just wanted to let you know that I need a good reason to trust your program.

  14. Hi Roger, just wanted to thank you for all your efforts on freefixer. I had a trojan and nothing would remove it. But yours did. So I donated $15 (£12) to you. Well done. I will keep it to one side and use it again if I have to. James, England
