Are you getting pop-ups while browsing saying:

“Message from webpage: There is a new Java version. Install new version now for better performance.”

Typically, when clicking the OK button, you are redirected to some faked Java update site. Don’t download any software from such sites.

If this is what you are seeing, then it’s likely that you have some adware installed on your machine. I think you should examine your computer with some removal tool such as FreeFixer.
